RACE RULES1. The Ommiedraai Friends A.C. 10km race is in accordance with the rules of ASA and WPA and is open to all licenced

and non-licenced runners of 14 years and older.2. Licenced runners must wear club colours to qualify for team prizes. A valid 2015 licence number must be worn on

the front and back of the vest.3. Temporary licences are available for non-club members.4. Temporary licenced participants are eligible for age category prizes provided they enter the relevant age group,

wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of age.5. Unlicenced runners must wear plain clothes. Temporary licence number to be worn on the front of the vest.6. No specialised numbers will be issued. 7. No personal seconding will be allowed on the route, except at official refreshment stations.8. In addition to overall (Open) prizes, participants will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category

they enter. Participants may enter the age category corresponding to their chronological age and/or any younger category down to senior.

9. Juniors (born from 1996 onwards) wearing junior or senior licence must wear an age category (J) tag to qualify for age group prizes.

10. Entry race cards must be in athletes possession at all times during the race.11. For safety reasons the use of personal music players during road races is strongly discouraged. Any person using

such device in contravention of IAAF Rule 144.3b who fails to obey a reasonable instruction from a race official may be disqualified and shall not be eligible for individual or team prizes.

RACE INFORmATIONRegistration for online entrants will be taken at Sportsmans Warehouse, Rondebosch on Saturday, 24 October from 10:00 till 16:00.Entries and registration can be done at Rosmead Sports Facility on:Friday, 23 October (15:00 - 19:00), Saturday, 24 October (09:00 - 19:00), Sunday, 25 October (5:00 - 6:30)All entrants must follow the instructions of the Race marshals.Cut off time for all events is 08:55 and prize giving will be held at 09:00.Tog bag facilities are available at own risk.Fun Run: Participants younger than 12 years must be accompanies by an adult.
