fusion with heavy emphasis on special teams).

2. Embrace the growing Latino community. Football is a predominately black and white sport. Step 1 is
related to Step 2 because a game where kicking and throwing is taught to all students will help to be more
inclusive of Compton High School majority, and growing Latino community, a community whose roots are in soccer
but having a growing and passionate love of American Football.
3. USE TECHto find out how much kids are actually running and heart rate, rather than flawed human eye. Democratize decision making
with real-time polling of kids with technology. (Mobile tracking, data gathering) film/different mediums to teach about
media/film. Allow students to question the reliability of film/surveillance.
4. Lacrosse to replace spring footballLESS IMPACT,
MORE COLLEGE SPOTS. PERIOD
5. Make "USE YOUR BRAIN" team motto! Emphasize critical thinking and concussion prevention during all team
events.
6. Create a Compton High School Football run Breakfast Program, used to improve ALL
student body health and knowledge about self-care and nutrition. Competitve American
Football uses between 500-600 calories per hour, more than any competitive sport than boxing. Reason for private/Catholic school
advantage.
7. Seek relationship with Celebrity/Hollywood Allies for support with sponsorship and media
education/exposure. Especially rapper and Compton alums Kendrick Lamar and Jayceon
Taylor.
8. Seek brand relationship with a vision in line with Kanye West's vision for Chicago high
school uniforms. Ideally with the Reebok brand because of 3 major factors (1. Basquiat collection as a form of education, 2. The
brand's relationship with Kendrick Lamar. 3. Less likely to be stolen than Jordan’s, Yeezy’s).
9. Seek community alliances with local police department, off-duty police, neighborhood
watch/policing programs, and ex/current gang members to avoid violence at all Compton High
School Football events.
10. Build team brand with e-commerce and store front whose profits flow back into the
team, school, and community from merchandise, tickets sales, and television.
