(H. Hesse).

No project comes by chance. During months of meetingsapparently generated by chance, by combinationsseemingly fated, by sharing visions and creative ferment,in the urgency to tell others about our experiences, pilgrim of the beauty returning from a long trip into theworld, we felt the power of our voices become one, in aunanimous expression, in a process in which everymoment grew, gradually, to the right pace at the righttime. We have been visionary witnesses of beauty, our eyesand our spirit have been nourished by the taste of elegantshapes, classic and innovative, by the emotions of art, bythe wonderful work of the creative talent of so manyunknown realities that have ravished and enchanted us.We have encountered artists and craftsmen, acknowledgedthe genius and the creative flair and, when our soul wasoverflowing, it became necessary to communicate, toshare the charm that educated us and that we had thegood fortune to experience and recognize. The fruit of our work will be the desire to stop these moments, capture the images, collect, shape, and give them voicefrom our pages. This is what we do. And this is what makes us fall in love.

“Beauty does not make happy who possesses it, but the one who

can love and desire it”. (H. Hesse).

Women’s awareness. Interview with Valeria Mangani, VicePresident of Alta Roma but above all active woman in thedefence of the female universe.

The rhythm of a female DNA beats inside the heart of ourMagazine . Woman & Bride wants to be a supporter in thebattle for women’s empowerment and awareness proposing afemale image neither vulgar nor sexist. Our magazine is infavor of those who defend these values with determinationknowing the strength of historical and sociological experience,of the importance of being a woman. Like Valeria Mangani, who does it with style and elegance, combining an image ofgreat charm with uncommon human qualities; achieving thedifficult and unusual marriage between Fashion andInstitutions. Valeria Mangani is Vice President of Alta Roma,Professor of Textile Technology at La Sapienza University ofRome, author of various bestsellers on health and foodscience, expertise in haute couture and precious stones. Herbiography is an overwhelming wealth of information; full ofoften neglected or ignored ideas and values which are theinspiration for this delightful conversation.

Let’s start from “Gilania” as the anthropological meaning offemale emancipation, able of interfere in the world’s fatesince the beginning. The credit for these discoveries goes to the archaeologist andanthropologist Riana Eisler. She created the new word “gilania”.The scientist, through the analysis of archaeological finds, wasable to piece together thousand years of an ancient prehistoricphase characterized by the prosperity of “gilianic” communities

based on the equality between the genders. Due to the propertyof being central figures in the society, females were able to leadthe language to advanced levels and also develop further stagesbased on different forms of communication. So we can say thatcommunication is female! This pattern of social balance, achieved during prehistory, is not possible today due to differentwomen’s aspirations and ambitions, also where civilization and evolution should allow social patterns and aggregation.

Why happens all this? It’s because we lost the leading role ofthe mother, considered as focus of the family, one of the knotsof the net which links an individual to the social structure?Women must realize this task and make up for their lost rolein society. This means understanding as an example, that thestate of health of their family is in their hands. Become awareof what they put in their shopping trolley or what are theywearing. Unfortunately, today's society, and its speed thatswallows everything, is not able to provide female patternscareful to these values. In this sense we can say that there isa lack of culture that should have to be counterbalanced bymedia and Institutions , which provide the educational toolsessential to fulfill the role of Mother in today’s world. This isthe reason why is so important to read labels and being ableto understand the origin of food as well as having a basicknowledge of the principles of food science as well as theessential balance of various elements.

Ecology and food science. Do we really know what we are eating?About this matter, I and Gianni Alemanno (today Rome’sMajor) when he was Agriculture Minister , were involved invarious battles against GMOs. In my opinion Institutionshave to protect the community steering towards Government’schoices in a healthy use of technology, which should have to bedevoted to a social use and used in a clever way. As an example,in military field is it possible to find some applications that ifemployed in everyday use, could improve the state of health ofan entire community. Moreover, there are “smart” t-shirts ableto supervise vital functions of the wearer. These products couldbe also used to improve dermatological compatibility of certain

tissues with the elements used during the coloring processes,in order to avoid skin reactions and allergic dermatitis.

Therefore, the Institutions have a crucial role in the geneticson our state of health. We are a country that represents only a percentage of 0.22 of thelands above sea level, and Italy has a bio-diversity of primaryimportance: we cannot and must not give up our background.Today, a global pattern call for a sort of wheat called terminatorthat, once harvested is not possible to use to produce othercrops. This means that it has to be purchased every time. Are weable to understand the crushing impact of this type of culture onpoorest populations? Genetics plays an important role, especiallyproviding the basic tools for the prevention of diseases: a geneticinvestigation could give us valuable information about theaptitude for certain diseases, in particular period of our lives.Through an healthy diet we could reduce this risks to aminimum, ensuring ourselves a better life opportunity.

You are dealing with fashion and you are also an expertise infood science. These two things are often unfitting creatingtwisted patterns among women.Since I have been Vice President of Alta Roma I commit myselfto ensure only normal size girls as model on the catwalk, inorder to avoid excessively thin mannequins. I know theseriousness of these disorders: bulimia and anorexia which denythe real essence of femininity and cause amenorrhea, the loss ofthe normal menstrual flow and kill the woman in her ownnature. To spread this message I offer all my help andexperience to a great political and cultural cross-party project ofan association called Donna Donna Onlus. We carried out acalendar which reproduce one hundred women portrays(including Parliamentarians from various parties, as well ascommon people join together in being women able tocommunicate it, no matter which style pattern and stereotype.I have been involving in defense of the community and theirsocial needs since I was a young woman and every day that Igo to work I wonder : what can I do for my Hometown today?

DEL MODERNOLA MOSTRA DI ROMA È OCCASIONE PER ESALTARE

LA FIGURA DELLA GRANDE ARTISTA,

INNOVATRICE PER ECCELLENZA

di Loredana Piccinno

/ 38 /

Tamara De Lempicka, Queen of the modern style. Theshow in Rome is the occasion to exalt the figure of thisinnovatory artist.

We can number Madonna, Jack Nicholson and DonnaKaran among Tamara’s principal collectors. She is theicon of the Deco, a term coined by art historians in the60's that refers to a period between the end of the Great Warand the 1940s , an artistic style that without her work wouldhave passed unnoticed. She was born in Russia (not inPoland like she would have wanted us to believe) around1895 into a prominent family. Early in her life her wealthygrandmother took care of her and spoiled her with clothesand travels. In 1911, she undertook a trip to Italy thatunveiled the wonders of the Renaissance, the loveliness ofBotticelli, the opulence of the Venuses of Giorgione andTitian, the wonder of the portraits. She married in Russiathe aristocratic Tadeusz Lempicki and in 1918 she fled to

France where she experienced the poverty that she wouldfight with determination for the rest of her life. With anatural talent, she began to take painting lessons, associatingwith the Paris of the rich and famous, embodying the speed, freedom and creativity of the roaring twenties. Her workfeels the influence of the Russian figurative art, at the sametime it is filled with Cubism, were the objects are dissectedinto a multitude of facets and then reassembled. Skyscrapersand telephones, sailing boats and all what can be referred toas glamorous was “analyzed” in pure evocative geometricshapes at the sides of the large portraits that fill her canvas. Her women express a perfect and frosty assertiveness, lipswith precious and deep red lipstick, immaculate hands, sparkling jewellery, confident and challenging expressions:images very close to the perfection of fashion photography. The artist develops in these works what she calls "vision oflove", a distorted vision of her feelings for a person or anobject. In her paintings, the figures tend to come out andalmost burst from the canvas, to claim the strength offeeling that contrasts with the ephemeral; always poisedbetween the classicism and the refined sensuality. Herpainting has a sculptural, almost tactile effect. All objectsand bodies are painted and glazed with satin texture: thevelvet and the metal of a car, the skin and satin of a nakedwoman, the icy calla lilies in the glass. The work exhibitedin Rome gives us a rich and complete portrait of thiswoman who was not ashamed to violate the conventions, making her own life a work of art.

More real than real. Emotional upheaval and excitementlooking at the work of Luciano Ventrone, the greatest livinghyperrealist.

Luciano Ventrone is considered by international critics as thegreatest living hyper-realist artist. A considerable primacy ifyou consider that this technique, already in use since the 70s,is now practiced worldwide. Fruit Baskets, seas, nudes, flowersand sometimes deserts represent the color in the maximumexpression that a man can paint, in fact, the secret is rightthere, in color. The accuracy of the painted subject is thenatural consequence of an inexhaustible need to challenge thereality in terms of visual perception. The unparalleledtechnique places him in a challenge with photography andvideo, overcoming them thanks to the skillful use of color andlight. Ventrone's success is the natural effect of a restlessgenius, years of practice and one passion that led him in timeto an exhausting training, twenty hours a day in the maniacalsearch for the representation of reality through the only wayof expression given to a painter: a canvas, brushes and oilcolors. Here there are his words given to an interviewer duringthe last Russian exhibition in St Petersburg at the StateRussian Museum "... I live my painting as a continuous andinfinite study of light and its effects, an endless challengeagainst reality and against the perception that everyone has ofwhat surrounds him. "The painting becomes an instrument of knowledge, a possibility that opens up in a consciousness instant, therelationship between the accomplishment meaning and itsopposite, sensible experience that opens wide the eyes in frontof the contradiction of eternity, of the sense of loss for theimmensity that, at least for a moment, becomes visible infront of a work made by a man and not immortalized by acamera. The one of Ventrone is an authentic and tenaciouspassion for art in its classical meaning, a feeling that pusheshim out of the rules of the market and beyond the currenttrends. A timeless artist that looks at the great artists of thepast with grateful eyes, Caravaggio first, but who is pleased toexpress, in slow and delicate motion common to each

creation, with the alienated silence typical of each hyperrealistcomposition, with chromatic contrasts of the light glosses, thereality of our Century, of which you can see the appearancebut you can only smell the spirit. Essentially these are thewords that are common to all those who come to speak of hisworks, no matter if they are colleagues, historians, collectors,or emirs who - since his first solo exhibition in Dubai - havedone anything but keep collecting his works, venerating themsuch as water in the desert. To talk about Ventrone then is asuperior experience than writing about an author and hisworks, because his world is covered with magic since ever, amagic dictated by his genius, from the abstraction with whomhe allows us to look at things which are part of our daily worldwith a point of view that invites us to think about howwonderful and magic is the nature that shapes our days, as ifwe often do not notice this but looking at it through hisbrushes and his eyes.Luciano Ventrone is present at the 54thVenice Biennial with a work consisting of 9 panels of 1 squaremeter each, a tireless search for the red color in all its forms:a polyptyc depicting a huge pomegranate.

Luciano Ventrone is present in the permanent collection ofthe National Museum in Washington DC, in the Ludwigcollection of the National Russian Museum of St. Petersburg- and in major galleries around the world including London,New York, St. Petersburg, Tokyo, Beijing and Dubai as well asin the prestigious collections of the Italian Senate, Ferrariautomotive group, Cremonini, Barilla, Della Valle, DeBenedetti, Syrups Fabbri, Federico Zeri Foundation andVittorio Sgarbi Foundation.

COLAZIONE CON AUDREY

DOVEROSO OMAGGIO AD UN’ICONA DI SEMPRE,

INTERPRETE DI UNO STILE UNICO

& p o r t r a i t / p h . T a s c h e n

Breakfast with Audrey. The right tribute to an ever presenticon, an interpreter of a unique style.

A MODERN PRINCESSIf she was still alive, she would be 80. It’s time toremember, to talk about her in a different way. AudreyHepburn. Unique among the stars of her time, she becamemore and more inimitable as they tried to imitate her.Belgian by birth, Dutch during the war, British by frameof mind, American by marriage and profession, thenItalian and Dutch again because of love. A half-castebaroness that would have loved to become a dancer butcondemned to be an actress for her short height and frailty. She was like a stylish Cinderella but yet nonconformist. She was humble and reserved, uncommon virtues ineveryday life and extraordinary in the star system. Shewasn’t a saint, but a very refined actress and an exceptionalwoman. A star by chance.

BREAKFAST WITH AUDREYAudrey, her anorexic body anticipated the “size 38” modelsof the 21st century. Her noble soul, her sublime charmcontinues to be a legend even for the younger generations. The internet is filled with sites dedicated to her despite hernormality, her good reputation and lack of excess. There isan official site, the foundation with her name and a lot ofdifferent sites linked to jeweller’s shops, perfumer’s shopsand dressmakers. Even if we weren’t on the Internet, wecould think of being on Fifth Avenue, wearing a black silkygown and eating a croissant in front of a luxury window. The “Audrey” effect is still alive.

profumerie, sartorie.

A UNIQUE STYLEHepburn, reserved but not too much, astonished every timeshe appeared, in private or public, with her “minimal”elegance that would turn pale any contemporary Japanesedesigner. She just needed a dress, in black, in pastel or inany cold colour; a scarf along her neck, big sun glasses, achignon, court shoes or pumps. Her jewels were few, but allof great taste, and just to complete the clothes. She wouldeven teach her grace and elegance to Jackie Kennedy.

AUDREY ABOUT AUDREY“As many young girls I was convinced to be really ugly andno one would have ever married me. My acting wasinstinctive. I attended one of the most important actingschools in the world: a generation of good directors. Peopleassociated my image with a time when movies werepleasant, the actresses were elegant and the musicharmonious. I had nothing in common with Holly(Golithly, the character of Breakfast at Tiffany’s) but I knewI could play that role. I knew it would be difficult, but Iwanted to play her character. Probably I was a little bitimprudent. When someone writes: the world is lessnegative watching your movies, I feel satisfied.”

But this ladyon that day, looking at the streets of Rome from the carwindow, sees also, in rapid succession, the images of her life.A life with a fulfilled dream. The lady is Madame GériBenoît, Haiti's FAO Ambassador in Italy. That day shereceives the Margutta prize, even more significant this yearmarked by the celebration of the 150th anniversary of theunification of Italy. Her dream was to be part of Italy, thecountry of fashion, design and art, and give a concretecontribution to the growth of Haiti, a complex world ofcontradictions, full of history and problems, smackedviolently by the earthquake disaster. Vivere a Roma. ANTICO TIRO A VOLO L’EDEN SEGRETO

The secret Eden in the heart of Rome. Meet MicheleAnastasio Pugliese, Chairman of the Antico Tiro a Volo (OldClay Target Shooting Club) of Rome, on a day when thegrey of the cloud-covered sky cannot obscure the beauty ofthis place, Hidden Paradise in the Parioli district.

Mr. Chairman, this is the most prestigious Club of Rome. How do you see our city from this privileged observatory? From here, you are hidden from the city's problems. On theone hand you are faced with a grey distressing wall, and on theother you look at this green, at this panorama. The Club doesn’tneed to be advertised; here you have the reward of the discovery. Those who discover this Club and those who are eligible to join, can enter and become owners of all this. An 18 year old youngman certainly would not have the possibility of affording thisClub, so we decided to open up to young people by inviting 40students from La Sapienza and Luiss University to attend, freeof charge, a place such as this, which gives them two advantages:the access to our facilities and the opportunity to meet qualifiedpeople who can contribute to their future growth.

Does this Club also help with one’s life objectives, to reachthe target at a social level? Success is tied to knowledge. One grows by osmosis. In lifeyou can learn by studying, traveling or meeting people. So itis important to grow through the exchange of views withothers. This learning path, this acculturation, is determinedby the encounters with people from very different culturalbackgrounds. The more people one knows, the easier will beto reach one’s objectives. The Club is a community, it mustbe strong inside and outside, thus it has to base its being alsoon the external connections. For us, these young people canbe the future, and we want to contribute to the growth ofthese who might be the leaders of the future.

Getting back to what we were saying, you could look at this city’s life in a detached and smug way, but on thecontrary, you place much emphasis on social issues.

parrocchie.

Like the other members, I also feel I'm indebted to thecommunity. Having a place like this in a city like this, itmeans being grateful to others. We are open to socialinitiatives; we fund parishes and non-profit organizations. We have 1500 children attending swimming lessons; some ofthem only pay half price. The social aspect is important; it isnot something to be commended, but a duty.

Who are the members of this club? Before becoming a member, one has to meet with theChairman. I am not interested in aristocratic or academic titles. All I want around me are respectable people, whether bakersor university professors, without prejudices.

We talk about elegance; this is an exclusive Club consisting ofpeople of great class. But what is, in your opinion, elegance?Elegance is something that cannot be disregarded and it is aninnate quality. Elegance isn’t just wearing a Caraceni suit, I canafford it now, but I couldn’t when I was twenty years old. I amproud to have taken this path, because in life we must learn, understand. Those who appreciate the sacrifices made toachieve a goal, understand others better. Returning to theelegance, I once knew the Marquis Niccolò Theodoli whoattended this Club several years ago and always wore the samejacket. But he was an elegant man because his style was inborn.I was 25 years old and along with my friends I used to admirethis successful person who, when he was playing billiards, likedto emphasize how his excitement stemmed from defeat becausevictory for him was a banality. He showed a natural elegance, certainly not determined by the clothing he wore. He had styleand class, the gift of taste and the gift of colour combinations.

Finally, a wish for your magazine:I hope you will be able to tackle the not-always-placid riverof the publishing industry in a time of great difficulty. Butthere are wonderful examples of success achieved despiteadverse times and this gives me hope for your project: withcourage and determination one can achieve the success thatrewards those who have always wanted to arrive.

LUIGI BORBONE, UNA NUOVA PROMESSA

DEL MADE IN ITALY

/ 72 /

unisce Architettura, Arte contemporanea e Moda, trinomio delsuo stile.

Luigi Borbone, a new promise of the Made in Italy. In a cornerimbued by history and the desire for renewal, at No. 3 Via deiQuerceti in Rome, I’m meeting Luigi Borbone in his spankingnew showroom, following the successful launch of his SpringSummer 2011 collection at Ulisse Art Gallery. Born in 1976 inRome, Luigi combines Architecture, Contemporary Art andFashion: the trinomial of his style. It all started with a needleand thread in his grandmother’s atelier, while still an adolescentin the countryside of Arezzo. From this humble beginningcreating only for the atelier’s clients, Luigi marked 2003 as acrucial year in his career. His professional relationship with GaiMattiolo has come to an end; he takes a degree in Architectureand runs into an unstoppable succession of internships withvarious designers ultimately arriving in Paris in 2008. The worldcapital of Haute Couture offers him the opportunity toparticipate in the “Who's Next” contest, organized by theChambre Syndicale de la Mode, and to create his firstSpring/Summer collection. With energy and maturity, thedesigner embraces the Prêt à Porter and creates his own Maison.Inspired by two great masters of the Italian Fashion, GianfrancoFerre and Giani Versace, the designer marries relentless research, inspired by the glorious names of the past, to observation of the current reality in his surroundings. He focuses on his ideal woman; sensual and lively, contemporary yet classic, sophisticated but simple. It is important to note his inspiringdivas, beginning with Princess Diana, the princess who had thecourage to live with heart and style; Brigitte Bardot, the icon ofbeauty and fashion; Marlene Dietrich, the symbol of a newfemininity in advance of the times and the unbridled RitaHayworth with her persuasive charm. The F/W 2011-2012collection is based on a combination of stiffness and softnessthrough the creation of layers. It is designed for a woman whodoesn’t feel ashamed of her sexuality, but embraces it, via a tightwaist silhouette, prominent shoulder pads and geometric lines.Applications of braid trimmings in gold, black and silver reflectthe sartorial craftiness for enriching the coats and jackets of thiscollection. The military mood enhances the femininity andglamour, by the introduction of the unmistakable silk cadi, as well as cashmere, alpaca and mohair. The macramé lace attached to the braided wool makes the creation whimsicaland sexy for Luigi Borbone’s woman.

Today poetic design is based on a plethora of complexcriteria: human experience, social behaviors, global, economic and political issues, physical and mentalinteraction, form, vision, and a rigorous understanding anddesire for contemporary culture. Manufacturing is based onanother collective group of criteria: capital investment, market share, production ease, dissemination, growth, distribution, maintenance, service, performance, quality, ecological issues and sustainability. The combination ofthese factors shapes our objects; inform our forms, ourphysical space, visual culture and our contemporary humanexperience. These quantitative constructs shape business, identity, brand and value. This is the business of beauty.Every business should be completely concerned with beauty- it is after all a collective human need. I believe that wecould be living in an entirely different world - one that isfull of real contemporary inspiring objects, spaces, places, worlds, spirits and experiences.

Design is about the betterment of our livespoetically, aesthetically, experientially, sensorially, andemotionally. My real desire is to see people live in themodus of our time, to participate in the contemporaryworld, and to release themselves from nostalgia, antiquatedtraditions, old rituals, kitsch and the meaningless. VI RACCONTO UN MATRIMONIO…UN VIAGGIO NELLE MAGICHE ATMOSFERE DEGLI

EVENTI FIRMATI ANGELO GARINI

Once upon a wedding... A journey in the magical lands ofevents signed Angelo Garini.

Palace Palagonia, rediscovered in Bagheria by Tornatore forhis eponymous movie, was the marriage location of awonderful couple; for them, I created a scenery that paidhomage to the eighteenth century, the age in which thepalace was built. Beginning from the Mirror Room, anamazing example of late Baroque decoration where the wallscombine Murano-made silvery mirrors with magnificentmarble polychrome inlays, we set up every hall with imperialtables, adorned with ancient tablecloths form the bride’sdowry and a decorative set of white flowers, goldencandelabra and ancient vases. I have taken care, with greatconsideration as always, of the lighting project, using warmlights, antique coats of arms, and sculptures of mythologicalcreatures decorating the villa (which is also known as ‘Thepalace of Monsters’). I have always thought, as a matter offact, that lighting and flowers are like brushes I can use topaint the event I’m creating, making every set-up a uniqueachievement. Such attention was reserved not only for theset-up in the private halls of Villa Palagonia, but also for thepalace chapel. There, at sundown, in the way of the Frenchkings, the marriage of the young couple was celebrated. The turquoise-coloured mantle of a wax effigy of the VirginMary inspired my tissue choice for the bench cushions andthe lace-covered kneeler of the bride and bridegroom. To welcome the guests on the entrance alley we chose a lineof valets in eighteenth century costumes, each holdinglanterns and flower crowns. In the egg-shaped entrance hallwe put an impressive oval table with a set-up of greatcandelabra and Baroque decorations. I’m sure that the Princeof Palagonia, a cultured and modern spirit whose palacecould rival with the splendor of Versailles, would have beenproud of our work if, thanks to a benevolent spell, he hadcrossed the barriers of time and attended the wedding takingplace in his own house.

Time stopped in Como. The dreaming Lario’satmospheres, the perfect stage to live unforgettablemoments.

If you are wondering what is so special about Lake Comoto attract wedding couples from all over the world, go toVilla Carlotta, and after taking in the wonderful scentsand colors of the gardens you enter the historic building.Through the central hall into the room of Cupid andPsyche, linger to observe the Tadolini copy of the famoussculpture. Then go out again, this time onto the terraceand allow yourself to get lost in the landscape just beyondyou, recognizing in nature the same intensity that theartist's hand has been able to extract from the marble:Cupid’s arms holding Psyche like the steep mountainssloping into the lake, the lovers eyes reflecting in eachother like the green mirrored in the blue. This sublimeemotion is what makes this lake unique and why it hasconquered over the centuries the hearts of many people:from illustrious names of history and literature, to thecontemporary stars of the Dolce Vita. The signs of thisentanglement of lives can be found in the beautifulhistorical villas overlooking Lake Como, incrediblesettings for the reception of your dreams. For example,Villa Del Balbianello where couples may celebrate civil

ceremonies with a view over the enchanting Gulf ofVenus, or Villa La Quiete where the taste of history livesin the original decorations and furnishings, or even Villadel Grumello or the Relais Regina Teodolinda where acareful renovation has been able to enhance the structurewith contemporary details. It’s worth mentioning here that also the big hotels keepattracting famous guests from all around the world; theGrand Hotel Villa D'Este in Cernobbio with its gardensand beautiful mosaics, the Grand Hotel Villa SerbelloniBellagio in the the most renown town by the lake and theGrand Hotel Tremezzo, which has just celebrated its first100 years. To witness that the passion for Lario is still alive, we canfind more contemporary resorts like the latest exclusiveCastadiva, opened in 2010. To more dynamic spirits, therecommendation is to celebrate barefoot on the beach ofLido di Lenno, one of the most picturesque bays of thelake. We started this short journey through the Lake Como with an embrace; Cupid and Psyche, nature andart, history and modernity, elegance and originality. Afterall, what's more romantic than saying “I do” locked ineach other’s arms!

The bio, intepreter of an enchanting backdrop. To beabreast of the times, this theme is becoming a priority. So,why not thinking about a bio-wedding?

Sweet and green hills, seas of sunflowers and poppies, stonesof the country cottages, rows of vines and cypresses alignedas testimonials of breathtaking sunsets… and then perfumes, colours…This is Tuscany, as it appears to the spectator’s eyesenchanted at first sight from such beauty. A similar view canother then recall Tradition in its shining splendour, idealframe for the new trend that is more and more fascinatingbride and groom: the bio-wedding, based on habitat respect, interpreting and revaluating all possible elements. In theTuscan countryside the more variegated locations, from thecommercial farm to the country house, from the“agriturismo” with vineyard to the most luxury resort, arethe most suitable frames to celebrate this moment ofhappiness and sharing. The forefront cateres suggest menuscharacterized by healthful and biological food: vegetables, meats and wines from the estate giving hospitality to thewedding will be the reception “must”, cheering up guests’tables and taste. For the menu the password is “seasonal and territorial products”. Protagonists of this “oeno-gastronomical tour”, fresh and seasonal ingredients:territorial vegetables, meats, cold-meats and cheeses, winesproduced by local vines, hand-made pasta, old traditionalrecipes “brushed up and re-examinated”, soups recalling oldtasting, the simply way to stay together and sharing. Tablesetting with natural cotton and linen tablecloth, colors offlowers, sweet herbs, pottery. The whole decorated withseasonal and local flowers, guide theme of the ceremonyvenue flower setting as well: roses, hydrangeas, sunflowers, poppies, ears of wheat, lavander set in simple but elegantmixes… a colours concert perfect with the green around, the basical colour of the event. And then wedding favoursand cards made by recycled paper and hand-written. Thelast look to the wedding dresses: hand-made with tissuelocally produced and definitely Made in Italy.
