Benefits of Compost Recycling
● Assembly Bill 939 Requires municipalities to recycle
at least 50% of their waste, which includes:
• Glass• Plastic• Paper• Aluminum• Green material• Biosolids
Municipalities that do not comply with AB 939 could be fined up to $10,000 per day
Recycling is Required by State Law
Nursery Products Composting Process
Nursery Products receives treated biosolids from waste water treatment plants in covered trucks and turns it into safe and beneficial compost
Biosolids, which are 80-90% water, are mixed with green material (wood chips, tree trimmings, etc) and composted in a controlled process
