Project: Initial ScreenProject: Initial ScreenTo start click Project/Project Information. Add start date.

Problem 1.1:Entering Activities & Times

Enter activities and times. Gantt chart will show up on right.

Activity (Task) InformationDouble click on task to get window. Click on Predecessors tab.

Entering PredecessorsEnter ID number of all predecessor tasks. Use FS type and 0 lag to start.

Completing Data EntryComplete entering predecessors. Arrows for predecessors will show on Gantt Chart.

Showing the Critical PathClick Format and check the Critical Tasks box. The Critical Path will show in red. You can manually move activity on Gantt Chart by left clicking and dragging on center of activity bar. Left click on right and drag extends duration of activity. Left click on left and drag changes percent completion.

Showing SlackTo show total slack and free slack on the table, click Format and then Insert Column. I recommend you keep the cursor on the Predecessors column when you do this. When you see the long column, type Total Slack and then Free Slack. You can move the Gantt chart by clicking on the left pane.

Network DiagramTo see AON diagram click View/Network Diagram
