To provide information on land resources, capability and risks as a tool for a better knowledge of the territory and a proper allocation of resources to the agricultural sector.

The following maps and data have been used to compile the database:

·     Soil map of BiH at 1:50000·     Topographic Map of BiH at 1:25000·     Geologic Map of BiH at 1:100000

The SOTER methodology has been applied for the first time on the territory of BiH, following the PROCEDURE MANUAL (FAO 1995). The methodology was created for 1:1000000 scale, but can be applied up to 1:100000 scale level.
