1. Before you exercise, you need to know your Resting Heart Rate. Please count your heart rate/pulse per minute. Place finger tips at your wrist or neck. Eg. 68

Things to do…This means that the Threshold of Training

Heart Rate for a 22 year person is 146 per minute.

The Threshold of Training or minimum Heart Rate for building cardiovascular fitness is determined by calculating 60 percent of the working heart rate range and then adding it to the resting heart rate.

Things to do…Once you determined your threshold & target

heart rates, you should exercise vigorously enough to bring your heart rate above threshold.
