1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Verse 11, “And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.”

We are “sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in every place” (1 Corinthians 1:2).

baptized into one body.” (the church - Ephesians 1:22-23)

Galatians 3:26-27, “For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ.”

1 Corinthians 6:11, “washed, justified, sanctified.” (cf. Acts 18:8-11)

When Are We Sanctified?Ephesians 5:25-27, “Husbands, love your wives,

even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself a glorious (church), not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Hebrews 10:29. 2 Timothy 2:21, “If a man therefore purge

himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master’s use, prepared unto every good work.”
