Mobin (Iran)SW & Cooling Water System

The project comprises a cooling water project with intake and outlet culverts, pumping basin and some infrastructure (buildings etc).

The main parts of the project are a pumping station basin covering an area of 13,000 m2, an intake culvert structure, approx. 1000 m long, and an outlet culvert approx. 400 m long. The cross section of the culverts is 13 x 5 m.

Two 120 m long culvert elements will be constructed in a dry dock in Busher, towedto Asaluyeh and installed on the seabed at 20 - 40 m depth. The remaining part of the culvert was prefabricated in 25 meter long sections, transported by barge to site and lifted into position by a crane barge.

OUR SERVICES Multiconsult has a contract for the detailed design of civil structures with Aker Marine Contractors. Aker has a contract with Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA), which is a turn-key contractor for the cooling water project versus Mobin. The Aker contract is including detailed design of civil structures and mari-ne operations. For parts of the work Multiconsult has engaged the local consulting company Sazeh Pardazi Iran (SPI).
