Happy New Year from the Chamber of Commerce! New Years
has always been synonymous with fresh starts and goal setting.
Our Chamber is no different! 2020 welcomes a lot of new
Chamber members and a few new Board members. We've
begun the process of reflecting on last year and planning for
this year.
It is our goal to provide a variety of networking, advertising,
educational and social opportunities throughout the year.
As the newly appointed Chamber President, I'm excited to be a
facilitator for growth and development. I stand firm in the
belief that we are better together and that if we each embrace
the same goal, we will all benefit.
I encourage you all to get involved and join us on this journey!

It is with great excitement that we welcome
KaLyn Schwartz to the team as a Program
Coordinator. You most certainly have met
KaLyn, greeting you with a smile as the Hostess
and Banquet Manager at Hahns.
Welcome KaLyn!!
As most of us look to our phones and tablets for
news, information, and entertainment, it is
critical we adjust our marketing approach to
accommodate the digital times we live in. While
historically the Chamber's marketing budget has
been spent on sport shows and print advertising;
2020 will start the transition of our digital
marketing journey. We will be investing more
heavily in social media and geographic &
demographic targeted advertising. These
outlets are desirable because they are relatively
low cost, targeted and traceable.
Digital platforms provide insights into the
number of views, click thru's to websites,
demographics of users, and search terms people
are using to find us. This information is
extremely valuable, as it allows us to tailor our
approach to capture a larger pool of our desire
demographic. It also gives us the agility to
change our messaging and ads to attract
different audiences depending on the time of
year (fishing, families, boaters, etc).
NEW & EXCITING | To amplify the Fremont area
we have invited social media "influencers" to
come and explore all our wonderful town has to
offer. These influencers are Wisconsin-based
individuals with large followers on Facebook,
Instagram, etc. and blog about fishing, boating,
camping, and Wisconsin food, to name a few.
Visits will be scattered throughout the year,
with emphasis from May to September.
