Ms. Tamis serves as the Regional Manager for both New Hampshire and Maine offices of TMC
Environmental (TMC). She is responsible for Client management, development, and
recommendations company-wide. She also has oversight of the company’s field operations in her
territory including staff management and effectiveness. Ms. Tamis’ responsibilities include managing
response crews, resources and contracts. Her experience includes remediation, petroleum releases,
air quality and high hazardous releases.
Ms. Tamis has a Civil Engineering background and has over twenty years of experience in
engineering, environmental consulting and contracting services.

Tom Healey P.E. is Director of Technical Services, managing the construction, maintenance,
information technology, environmental, health and safety components of the business. Tom has over
23 years of industry experience, including as an engineer for Exxon and Shell, a Construction
Manager for a well-respected general contractor and a Project Manager for a regional engineering
firm. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the
University of Massachusetts. Tom is a Massachusetts Licensed Construction Supervisor and a
Registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Matt Jones is currently the Underground and Aboveground Oil Compliance and Enforcement
Subsection Chief within the Oil Remediation and Compliance Bureau of NHDES, overseeing the
inspection program for underground and aboveground tanks, the UST Operator Training Program,
and Safetank Program. He has been with the NHDES for 12 years performing such duties as
hazardous and solid waste complaint investigation, emergency response, air stationary source
inspections, underground storage tank inspections, aboveground storage tank inspections, and
development and implementation of the UST Operator Training Program. He has a BS in
Environmental Science from Lyndon State College.

Gary Lynn is the new MtBE Remediation Bureau Administrator. He has a BS ChE/Chemistry degree
from Northwestern University and a MS in Civil Engineering with Environmental specialization from
Virginia Tech. He is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in process engineering,
environmental consulting and with state regulatory agencies. During his tenure at DES, he managed
the Pease Air Force Base cleanup program, was the first coordinator of the Brownfields program, ran
the petroleum remediation program for 15 years and is now leading the MtBE remediation program.
He also received two environmental merit awards from EPA Region I for brownfields and site cleanup
achievements and is the 2013 DES co-employee and 1997 DES employee of the year.
John Pasquale, P.G., Project Manager, MtBE Remediation Bureau

John Pasquale is a hydrogeologist overseeing investigation and remediation projects managed within
the NHDES’s MtBE Remediation Bureau. While new to the NHDES, Mr. Pasquale has more than 22
years of experience as a consultant conducting site investigations, remedial projects, underground
storage tank closures, vapor intrusion studies, and other environmental assessments at various
petroleum and hazardous waste sites primarily in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He has a B.A.
in Geology from Hamilton College and is a Licensed Professional Geologist in New Hampshire.
