TRANSCRIPT

I know that some of these books/comics are extremely hard to obtain via your local comic shop, but, when possible, please support the industry and go fucking buy comics. Don't be a bitch. Comics (and books) are great, so, instead of buying child porn from a dirty guy with a trench coat, go buy some fucking comics. To not purchase comics is to cripple the industry and prevent such great books from being made. The only reason that I am providing this torrent is to spawn some interest in the great Lovecraftian comics that have been comming out lately. Go buy the HP Lovecraft Compendium and The Fall of Cthulhu TPBs "The Fugue," "The Gathering," and "The Grey Man."ENJOYfewfwefwefefwCthulhu Tales-Issues 1-8 (current until Janurary 09)-"Tainted" One Shot-"The Rising" is missing, but I'm not breaking the binding on my comicsFall of Cthulhu-Issues 00-14-Issues of Godwar (#1-#3; current 'till Janurary 09)-"Fall of Cthulhu Cover Gallery"Necronomicon-Issues 1-2-Only a 4-5 Shot; Boom! To "read" books on the PSP, download and install Ghost Script (or just install the one I included; website=ghostscript.com, select "Releases" and then, depending on your computer's operating system [windows, apple - must be .exe compatible - or linux], select the appropriate installer package, download and install). Create a folder in your C:\ (or whatever drive letter you installed Windows to) called "PSP" and put the pdf2png.bat file in that folder. Open up a command prompt and navigate to C:\PSP>. Now, go ahead and put whichever .pdf file you are trying to convert in the same folder. From C:\PSP> type "dir/p" (minus the quotation marks, of course) and you should have a total of 4 entires: ., .., pdf2png.bat and whatever the name of the .pdf file is. Now, type "pdf2png.bat" (again, without quotes) a space (just hit the space bar) and the name of the .pdf file you want converted. So, as an example, if you wanted to convert the story "The Crawling Chaos" and it was named "The Crawling Chaos.pdf," your command prompt window would have this:C:\PSP>pdf2png.bat The Crawling Chaosand you would then hit "Enter." The batch file will run and it will stop doing stuff when it's done. Then you will have a new folder in your C:\PSP\ folder called (in this example) "The Crawling Chaos." In this folder will be several .png files. One for each page of the pdf. The scripting automatically names the picture files according to page number, so, when viewed on the PSP, they are already in order. I will recommend, however, to use your favorite picture editing software and save the files as .jpegs because it takes a lot of system resources to view PNGs on the psp.To convert .cbrs for use on the psp, you must use winrar (and you can use the same method, but backwards, to make your own cbrs either from your own scans or from a pdf-book). I only know how to do this using Windows XP, so don't email me about it if you have another operating system. Right click the cbr/cbz and select "Open With..." and "Choose Program". Select WinRar from the list and you will be presented with a WinRar window with a bunch of pictures. Some of the archives come in a nice neat folder; you can just drag and drop the folder wherever. Once you have all the pictures [of each page] and a folder to put them in, right click each jpeg and select "Edit." You will then be presented with your favorite image editing software and the picture will be opened. All you have to do now is just save the picture. Yes, it seems simple, but it was a pain in the ass to figure out that the PSP sorts pictures by the date the image was last modified and NOT BY THE NAME OF THE IMAGE. Since you can not manually edit the "Date Modified" part of a file, this is a short cut. Yeah, it sucks to have to constantly right-click, open, ctrl+s, exit, rinse, lather, repeat, but it's the only way I've figured out how to do it. As for the actual reading of comics, I recommend zooming in on the image (hold square and move the thumbstick up) until it fills the PSP screen's width and just use the thumbstick to move up and down. For questions or comments, email me @ [email protected]. If your question was answered in this README, I will NOT respond as I have stuff to do and I bothered to answer your question before you asked it.
