Caring for the netbook

No food or drink

Do not carry netbooks open

Do not deface laptops

Do not leave unsupervised

Keep your battery charged

Charge your netbook overnight…

every night

Turn off your netbook before putting in the carry

case

Do not poke the screen

Do not:

• Place anything in the case that will press against the netbook

• Place anything that could pressure on the screen

• Place anything on the keyboard before closing the lid

• Lean on the netbook when it is closed

Daily Expectation

Step 1Carry netbook to school inside the carry case

Step 2 Bring netbook to House Group –

Students without netbooks will be directed to the library to “check –out” a different netbook for the school day (limited)

Step 3 Take netbook to each class

Step 4 Take the netbook home with you

Step 5 Connect to your home network –

open Kaleidos to view your homework / coursework

Step 6 Recharge your netbook over night

Netbook usage at school
