CLIMATE-OZONE OPERATIONAL LINKAGES
THIRD ANNUAL CO3OL WORKSHOP
AGENDA
DECEMBER 5-6, 2016 1735 NEW YORK AVE., NW(18TH AND E ST entrance), WASHINGTON DC
The workshop will provide a forum for participants to discuss a number of pertinent and practical aspects of current developments related to the global phase-down of ozone depleting and high-global warming substances in a manner integrated with energy efficiency and climate mitigation initiatives across economic sectors. The first day will provide an opportunity to receive updates on the latest international developments to control HFCs under the Montreal Protocol (MP) and other mechanisms as well as learn about MP linkages with the cold chain. The second day will be devoted to the air-conditioning (AC) sector, and the importance of the integration of ozone and climate issues that enable effective MP implementation while complementing and enhancing sector development priorities.
