Choose from the following: 1. Write a story from the perspective of Peter – include his thoughts and feelings at different parts of the story. 2. Create a comic strip showing the story. Watch the BBC bitesize video KS2 ‘Light travels in straight lines’Use the investigation sheet template on the school website to design a similar investigation that you could use to prove that light travels in straight lines.

1. Listen to BBC Ten Pieces ‘Finlandia: an introduction’. Make a mind map to show these themes – information (composer, when written etc), the ideas behind the piece, how the music makes you feel at different points, and which instruments create the moods.

2. Listen to the complete piece on BBC Ten Pieces. Divide a piece of paper into 3. The piece is in three sections (3 minutes, 3’ – 5.20 and then to the end) Write noun phrases about each section to describe what you hear/ see in the music. Which is your favourite section. Why?
