Packets – The non – branded pakets of Metro Cash and Carry

Log Book – Format and designing and approval from Groupon

A sample packet containing the onions with the stickers and the log book format will be sent to Groupon and only on approval will the contrant comes into existance

Groupons tie-up

Groupoon has come up with a Rs.9 to Grab a Kilo of Onions deal

In return the space on the package will be shared by both brands

For which they are outsourcing the procurement and delivery to local grocery stores

Placement of orders

Sticker supplier – 4+1

days lead time.

Metro Cash & Carry – 4 days

Logistics – 3 days in

advance.

Labour – 3 days in

advance.

Logistics and Labour we will be procured from an agency (Movers and Packers)

Procurement of Onions

Metro Cash & Carry (Debjit Mukherjee)

In order to deliver goods on 8th & 9th we will place order on 5th & 6th respectively.

We would procure sorted(small & large) onions which are of good quality.

We will get the onions loaded in their respective vehicles by 9:00 A.M

Delivery Day Process

•6.30 AM – Packaging will start at Metro Cash and Carry under supervision of the regular staff of SnS

•8.00 AM – Tata Ace will arrive at Metro Cash and Carry and loading process will start

•9.00 AM – All the Tata Ace will leave for their respective regions to start the delivery

•Every order would take an average time of 15 mins , during the time of travelling the employee will take care of the labeling of the packets .

•On reaching the destination address the employee will carry the packet to the particular house with the log book and get it signed with some other details like phone-number which will be passed on for verification

•All the details and log book will be taken back on the next day morning

Payments

Metro Cash and Carry – On the days of delivery

Stickers – Full advance on the day placement of order

Tata Ace – 50 % advance on the day of confirmation and rest at the end of delivery on Day 2

Labour – End of Day 2

Terms & Conditions

Advance payment- 80 % of total amount by the 4th day from which the order is given

The Balance amount would be remitted within 4 days of the completion of the order

The signed log book would be the evidence that the customers has received the orders

The increase in procurement cost because of fluctuations in the onion prices is to borne by Groupon and will be caltalted w.r.t to change in price of onion in the commodity market
