+ Eye Contact TricksPick a few objects

around the room. Look at these items throughout the presentation.

Another trick is to look at an audience member’s nose, ear, shoulder, hair or mouth. It will still look like you’re looking them in the eye.

+ VolumeBe nice and loud.

Use a teacher voice when presenting.

If you’re too quiet, then people won’t be able to hear you.

+ If Using Notes…Don’t cover your face with the paper. Your voice will be blocked by the paper, which will make it hard for your audience to hear you.

Lay the paper flat so your voice projects.

+ Practice In order to be a confident and knowledgeable presenter, practice a lot.

Practice presenting in front of family or friends or even a mirror.

The more you practice, the better your presentation will be. It will be easy to tell because you will look and sound smooth.
