Assignments

Use a digital camera to take pictures of some of your favorite foods from the various food groups. Print the pictures and cut and paste them onto a paper plate using the MyPlate as a model. Make sure you have the right proportions!

Play the Food Groups Game by following the link provided. After getting 100% on the game, draw each food group with at least five food items in each.

Using the MyFood app on the class iPad, research foods from each of the foods groups. Determine what foods could be used to prepare a nutritious, balanced meal. Draw a picture of your meal plan on the 12” circle provided. Refer to the MyPlate as needed.
