Denis Barker, the founder of Selborne estate, created the onsite chapel from the bricks of the former Umzinto chapel where he first took his vows in 1953. Delighted with the results of the restoration, Denis later celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary in this very chapel as it stands today. The charming 80-seater chapel is nestled within the lush park-like gardens of the estate, providing the ultimate romantic prelude for your wedding. The quaint chapel lends itself favourably to either a demure, understated ceremony or to a lavish and opulent one.
