Venetian Blinds Fitting Instructions

To tilt blind: Twist the wand to tilt the slats in either direction.

Tilt blind horizontal before raising/lowering to extend the life of the blind.

To lower blind:Á&ͱN>ÁEB˗Á<ͱJ=ÁLͱO:J=KÁFB==E>Áͱ?ÁLA>Áblind pulling down gently until cord lock releases.

To raise blind: )MEEÁEB˗Á<ͱJ=Á=ͱOGO:J=ÁMGLBEÁ;EBG=Áreaches desired height.

Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.

If the cord condenser is pulled apart:

Untangle and untwist cords.

For 2 cords: Press the cord condenser together until it is fully closed.

For 3 cords: Place the loose cord in the opening in one half of the cord condenser and press the cord condenser together until it is fully closed.

For 4 cords: Place one of the loose cords in the ͱH>GBG@ÁBGÁͱG>ÁA:E?Áͱ?ÁLA>Á<ͱJ=Á<ͱG=>GK>JÁLA>ÁJ>F:BGBG@ÁEͱͱK>Á<ͱJ=ÁBGÁLA>ÁͱH>GBG@ÁBGÁLA>ÁͱLA>JÁA:E?Áand press the cord condenser together until it is fully closed.

If there are any doubts that the cord condenser has not been re-attached correctly it can tested by HE:<BG@ÁQͱMJÁ:JFÁ;>LO>>GÁLA>Á<ͱJ=KÁ:G=ÁHJ>KKBG@Ádownwards. The condenser should break apart with FBGBF:EÁ?ͱJ<>ÁB?ÁBLÁ=ͱ>KÁGͱLÁ;J>:D:O:QÁLB>Á<ͱJ=KÁͱMLÁof reach of children and contact a reputable blind <ͱFH:GQÁLͱÁJ>H:BJÁLA>Á;EBG=�Á

FACE FIXING

Children can strangle if a safety device is not installed. Always use a safety device to keep cords and chains out of reach of children.

Cord safety cleat - The safety cleat shall be installed as close to the headrail as possible and in all <:K>KÁGͱLÁE>KKÁLA:GÁ���FFÁ?JͱFÁLA>Á˔ͱͱJ�

Mark the hole positions and drill as J>IMBJ>=�Á

HOLD DOWN BRACKET -.2'-,�*

Hold down brackets: Using two KF:EEÁK<J>OKÁK<J>OÁAͱE=Á=ͱOGÁbracket to window facing or wall. Snap bracket pin ends into the hole :LÁ;ͱLLͱFÁJ:BEÁ>G=�

Use the screws provided to attach the safety cleat to the wall.

Wrap the cords around the <ͱJ=Á<E>:LKÁBGÁ:Á˓@MJ>Áͱ?Á��

When the cords are fully :<<MFME:L>=Á>GKMJ>ÁLA>QÁare secure so when any cord is pulled no excess cord is released.

BREAKAWAY SAFETY TASSEL

Breakaway safety tassel is HJ>�˓LL>=ÁLͱÁLA>ÁEB˗Á<ͱJ=KÁso that when a horizontal force is applied to the cords entering the condenser it safely ;J>:DKÁ:O:QÁ>EBFBG:LBG@Á:GQÁhazardous loops.

If the breakaway safety tassel is pulled apart:

Untangle and untwist cords.

For 2 cords: Press the breakaway safety tassel together until it is fully closed.

For 3 cords: Place the loose cord in the opening in one half of the breakaway safety tassel and press the breakaway safety tassel together until it is fully closed.

If there are any doubts that the breakaway safety tassel has not been re-attached correctly it can tested by placing your :JFÁ;>LO>>GÁLA>Á<ͱJ=KÁ:G=Ápressing downwards. The breakaway safety tassel should ;J>:DÁ:H:JLÁOBLAÁFBGBF:EÁ?ͱJ<>Áif it does not breakaway tie cords out of reach of children and contact a reputable blind <ͱFH:GQÁLͱÁJ>H:BJÁLA>Á;EBG=�Á
